SU senior dies

Syracuse University officials announced a senior student studying political science, law, society and policy, and Spanish died in a campus-wide email Sunday night.

Bryce Lander, a senior at Syracuse University, recently died, Senior Vice President Allen Groves announced in a campus-wide email Sunday evening.
Lander was studying in SU’s College of Arts & Sciences and the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. He was originally from Westchester, Pennsylvania, and was studying political science, law, society and policy studies and Spanish, Groves wrote.
Students in need of immediate support can receive confidential counseling through the Barnes Center at The Arch or by calling (315) 443-8000. SU’s Student Outreach and Support also provides resources at (315) 443-4357 on weekdays.
Faculty and staff can access resources 24 hours a day through Carebridge at (800) 437-0911. Hendricks Chapel offers services to all members of the SU community at (315) 443-2901.
